Community Management Intern

Role Overview:

The Community Management Intern will support NaTakallam's Community team by focusing on community engagement for NaTakallam Language Partners (LPs). This role is instrumental in fostering a supportive and engaged community for our tutors from displaced backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

Community Engagement & Support

  • Contribute to reinforcing an active and inclusive Language Partner community through regular check-ins, resource sharing, and events.

    • Draft newsletters for the Language Partner community.

    • Post regularly in the Language Partner Slack community.

  • Assist in organizing workshops and engagement activities to support LPs in their professional growth.

    • Research possible opportunities for the Language Partner community, contributing to their personal and professional development and upward mobility.

  • Respond to Language Partners’ inquiries and provide guidance to address any concerns.

  • Support marketing and storytelling efforts by gathering testimonials and insights from NaTakallam Language Partners, helping to share their experiences and perspectives with our student community through impactful narratives and visual content.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.

  • Passion for social impact, education, and refugee advocacy.

  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and customer service experience is a plus.


Pay and Compensation:

  • This is an unpaid internship.

  • The Intern will have free access to NaTakallam's language conversation session services during the internship period.


Working hours: 20 hours per week, with flexibility up to 25 hours per week.


Internship period: 6 months
